Patient Center
At your first visit, you will be evaluated by one of our licensed physical therapists where we will get to know about you and your injury. We will design a customized treatment plan with your physician to achieve your goals while helping you return to work, life and play. Your medical history will be reviewed and the evaluation will focus on your diagnosis and symptoms. Your first session will include evaluation of your strength, posture, range of motion, proprioception and assess soft tissue dysfunction and any functional limitations.

More Patient Information
Typically your treatment will begin on the first day and will typically be a bit longer than a normal appointment. Generally we ask our patients to wear loose fitting close or bring shorts as well as sneakers. For some patients they gain immediate relief from pain and discomfort and for others you may be in more discomfort after your first visit…but don’t worry, that’s to be expected.
You should plan to leave an hour and a half for filling out necessary paperwork, evaluation and treatment. At the end of your evaluation the therapist will communicate his/her recommended duration and frequency of visits. After such time we will communicate the results of your evaluation with your physician as well as the recommended treatment plan and goals. You will need to complete registration forms as well as bring a prescription from your physician so that we can get you started. We will handle the authorization and verification process after that.
