AON is a therapist owned practice that was started on September 1, 2007. It is the combined visions of the owner’s, Lee Day and Bryan Kelly. Both previously worked for a large national physical therapy group and realized one day that the view they shared in regards to comprehensive rehabilitation could be better achieved in our own facility. Since then we have grown to 4 locations in New York and Connecticut and each facility embodies our vision of not just treating a part of your body that is injured, but seeing the global aspect of the movement patterns and postures that effect your spine or extremity function.
We believe you will notice a different atmosphere in our facilities when you enter versus other centers. We believe that a good majority of your rehabilitation is mental as well as physical. All the staff will know your name and we promote an open, friendly environment where you will interact with other clients, who are going through some of the same things you are. Different types of music will be played and periodic fun-interactive activities are able to be enjoyed by all. Comprehensive care will include the use of all forms of therapeutic modalities, evidence based manual techniques and a specific home exercise plan that is tailored to your situation.
We also strongly believe in giving back to our communities. We participate in many community activities, support many local funds, and offer our services to many different businesses and charities. We were proud and honored to receive Business of the Year from the Town of Southeast in 2008.
